Dry Eye Management

Computer related dry eye affects millions of contact lens and non contact lens wearers. Dr. Luria and team are specialists in dry eye, employing the latest techniques in diagnosis including infrared meibography (tear gland imaging) and state of the art treatments for affected tear glands (iLux therapy). With proper diagnosis and treatment, it is possible to reverse dry eye related signs and symptoms.

Specialty/Custom lenses

The latest (digital) lenses are customized, not just for you and your prescription, but the algorithm is optimized for the dimension of each frame for a truly customized pair of glasses. Team Eye Q are experts in specialty lenses designed specifically for computer (workspace) that solve some of the shortcomings of progressives when matched with computer tasks. Blue light filtering is becoming standard. Eye Q offers the best and clearest in this class of lens technology.

When clip-ons are preferred over a dedicated pair of sunglasses, old fashioned and cumbersome clip-ons have been replaced by customized magnetic clips (chemistrie) for a much more elegant and user friendly experience.

Specialty Contact lenses

The team of doctors at Eye Q are specialists in the latest contact lens options and technologies. Multifocal contact lenses are available in a variety of materials and replacement modalities. Multifocal lenses for astigmatism finally exist! In the past, many people have been told they couldn’t wear contact lenses because there wasn’t a lens for their prescription. This is almost never true now.
